About ISO TC 293

Global Partnership for Standards Development

ISO standards facilitate international trade by providing common methodologies and practices, and help ensure the manufacture and delivery of safe, reliable products. International Organization for Standardization Technical Committee 293 (ISO TC 293) develops international standards for all aspects of stationary feed machinery and processes.

Each year, companies in more than 100 countries manufacture feed machinery for sale domestically and abroad.  ISO TC 293 standards will be the globally accepted quality benchmarks for all feed machines, regardless of their country of origin or sale.

China recommended the establishment of TC 293 and is leading the work. The United States is currently one of the participating countries working on these standards. There are also a number of observing countries involved in the process.  Participating counties each have one vote on items brought to ballot, while observing countries do not receive a vote.
